Les jeunes le connaissent comme un rappeur. Auteur du titre à succès, «Tu dors, ta vie dort». Sorti en 2013, le titre a connu tellement de succès, que l’artiste en a fait une marque de Tee-shirt. Une empreinte qui le précède partout où il va aujourd’hui car ce produit dérivé s’est vendu à plus cent mille exemplaire. Une façon pour le jeune artiste de crier son ras-le-bol face aux plaintes récurrentes de ses amis jeunes : «je ne voulais pas être de ceux qui se plaignent mais de ceux qui bâtissent alors j’ai lancé un cri de guerre et de ralliement en direction de mes congénères et l’hymne est né». Pour ce dernier, chacun doit travailler pour se faire une place au soleil et le reste suivra. C’est sans doute ce sens de l’effort qui a séduit l’artiste Stéphane Dayas. Le jeune rappeur a invité le membre du mythique groupe, Esa à revisiter l’un de leurs titres à succès, «Mut’Eyaye». Le titre est disponible depuis avril 2018. Une version fraîche qui devrait trouver un écho favorable auprès des jeunes.
Le rappeur travaille actuellement sur un featuring avec la bombe Blanche Bailly. Une collaboration qui fait un peu jaser. Et pour cause, le contraste comportemental entre les deux artistes. Blanche Bailly est plutôt une artiste extravertie alors que Pol’Anrhy, est certes rappeur mais aussi Prince de bonatokoto du canton Njo-Njo. «Blanche Bailly est une artiste. C’est déjà le plus important. Son art est évocateur et véhicule des valeurs comme les droits de la femme. Seulement en tant qu’artiste elle a des codes tout comme moi j’ai les miens. Mais je ne suis qu’un instrument et je ne juge pas les hommes», tempère le rappeur.
Il ajoute que ses responsabilités dans le canton Njo-Njo de l’empêcheront pas de vivre sa passion : «Ma passion est mon métier ; c’est ma vie et un instrument assez percutent pour véhiculer mes idéaux et passer le message aux miens. Je pense que jusqu’ici je le fais bien, ils sont tous éveillés», se vante-t-il.
